Who This Session Is For

This session is designed for people who have purchased or are considering a hardware wallet and want a calm, guided walkthrough before transferring any meaningful amount of cryptocurrency. You might be a salaried professional in Ulsan who bought a Ledger after reading a forum post, or someone who inherited a wallet and does not know where to begin.

No prior technical background is required. We assume you understand what Bitcoin or Ethereum are at a basic level, but we do not assume you know how seed phrases, derivation paths, or passphrase extensions work.

What Happens During the Session

We begin with a conversation about your goals: Are you holding long-term? Do you need occasional access? Are you setting up for a family member? This context shapes every recommendation we make.

Next, we examine your physical setup. If you have a hardware wallet still sealed in its box, we open it together and verify the packaging integrity. If you already initialized a device, we review your backup method without asking you to reveal your seed phrase aloud — instead, we check whether your storage location, material, and redundancy meet basic safety standards.

The final portion covers operational habits: how to confirm receiving addresses on the device screen, when to update firmware, and what to do if you suspect your backup has been compromised.

• Recovery of lost seed phrases (we offer a separate walkthrough for prevention, not recovery)

Preparation

Arrive with your hardware wallet (if purchased), a notebook, and any backup materials you currently use. Do not bring digital photos of your seed phrase. Charge your device beforehand.
